In short
DivineLore is a reference library, not a service that needs your identity. We don't ask you to create an account, and the birth dates, names, and times you type into our tools are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Calculators & your input
Every interactive tool on DivineLore — the Life Path calculator, the birth chart builder, the dosha quiz, and the rest — runs as JavaScript inside your browser. When you enter a name, date, or birth time, the calculation happens locally on your device. That information is not sent to us, logged, or saved anywhere off your device. If you close the tab, it's gone.
What we collect
Because there are no accounts and no server-side tools, the data we touch is minimal:
- Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our host records basic technical data when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page visited, and a timestamp. This is used for security and to understand aggregate traffic, not to identify you personally.
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site performs. This is reported in aggregate and is not tied to your identity.
Cookies
DivineLore uses few cookies, and the site's core content works without them. Where cookies or similar local storage are used, it's to remember simple preferences (such as a light/dark theme) or to support the third-party services described below. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Third parties
A small number of outside services help the site run:
- Hosting. The site is served by our hosting provider, which processes standard request logs as described above.
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's font service, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, and we don't build advertising profiles about you.
Advertising
DivineLore may display advertising to support the cost of producing free content. If and when ads are shown, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and serve relevant ads. When this is active, this policy will be updated to name the specific partners and link to their own privacy controls, and — where required — you will be asked for consent before any non-essential advertising cookies are set.
Your choices
You can browse the entire library without providing any personal information. You can block or delete cookies, use your browser's "do not track" setting, and opt out of personalised advertising through your browser or device controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or request deletion of any personal data a processor holds — to exercise these, contact us below.
Children
DivineLore is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
As the site grows — particularly if advertising or new features are added — this policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
