Bharani

Bharani is the nakshatra of bearing and transformation — the womb and the threshold. Ruled by Venus yet governed by Yama, the lord of death and cosmic order, it holds the full arc of creation: bringing forth, holding through, and letting go.

Bharani — "the bearer, she who carries" — is the second of the twenty-seven nakshatras, spanning Aries 13°20′–26°40′. It is ruled by Venus, which means a Moon placed here opens the life with a Venus dasha period of 20 years.

02Character and meaning

Bharani natives carry intensity well. They tend to feel things to the fullest — desire, responsibility, moral weight — and have a remarkable capacity to bear burdens that would break others. There is a fierceness here, but it is a disciplined fierceness, aware that every birth has its cost.
